Project Manager

Skills : Financial Experience, Project Management
Location : Centennial, CO
Tax term : Fulltime
Principal Responsibilities May Include:
Manage projects and project programs. A demonstrable track record of delivering projects on time and within budget is required. Strong ability to comfortably straddle the fence between business knowledge and technical knowledge. Identify and manage project risk; work with partners to develop solutions for new challenges, mitigate risk and track performance of solutions. Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and assigning project tasks, team building, and maintaining working relationships with client functional areas inside and outside of IT. Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives. Applies project management practices and reporting techniques to communicate project status to executive stakeholders.
Competencies For Success :
• Demonstrated ability to complete a Project Impact Analysis; understanding the relationships    between risks, issues, plan dependencies, and the impacts of tasks completing early or late.
• Demonstrated ability to asses Project Health using qualitative and quantitative analysis    techniques.
• PMP Certification would be nice to have, but not a must.
• Excellent skills with the technical aspect of leading projects such as management of the    estimated vs. actual variance for cost, dates and hours; the identification of leading indicators of    project issues; the ability to work directly
• Experience working in a consulting or similar organization servicing financial industry clients, or    in a technology area servicing a transfer
• Agency or other mutual funds operation is preferred, but not a must.
• Experience in PMO best practices, trends, and processes.
• Demonstrated experience in project and project portfolio management software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional    environment.

Business Analyst

Skills : Business Analysis, Process Flows, Process Improvement methodologies
Location : Centennial, CO
Tax term : Contract (6+ months)
Principal Responsibilities May Include:
• Provide business/system/project analysis: elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify and manage    the real needs of the project stakeholder, including customers and end users.
• Partner with business and technology partners to elicit current and future state needs and    harvest rules in terms of processes, technologies, and/or data utilizing different techniques    such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, story boards etc. Effectively    document/communicate these needs using a variety of means such as state analysis    diagrams, user stories, use cases, and business process flows.
• Facilitate communication, written and oral, to ensure that all parties understand the needs of the    business and overall company strategies.
• Document requirements specifications in the most appropriate format using natural language    simply, clearly, unambiguously and concisely.
• Engage and communicate effectively and comfortably with both business and technology    partners to help drive strategic change.
• Perform analysis to determine root cause of problems, create cost/benefit justifications, and    develop feasibility studies.
• Utilize process re-engineering and/or processes to assist the business in discovering more    efficient, rapid, streamlined and higher quality results. Eliminating single points of failure and    incorporating intellectual capital into the systems.
• Partner with other internal development teams, Quality Assurance, external vendors, business    partners, and management in delivery of a variety of projects.
• Facilitate meeting to extract requirements from various parties at all levels of the organization    and drive decision making.
Competencies For Success :
• 5+ years working with proven methodologies around soliciting/analyzing business    requirements, understanding and translating business process flows, and overall project    delivery on systems development and process improvement projects. In-depth, hands on    experience with UML, Agile, RUP and other methodologies.
• Must have experience in **re-engineering business processes
• Ability to quickly gain an in-depth understanding of the existing business and effectively map to    new business concepts/processes to deliver timely solutions for the organization.
• Able to independently drive strategic change and assume lead roles on projects when \    necessary.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills. Candidate must be able to communicate to all    levels in the business and technology in terms of project, business process, and technology    details.
• Must be able to actively participate in technical and/or architectural discussions and design    meetings. And have the ability to translate technical discussions to the business and    executives.
• Excellent multi-tasking and self directed task prioritization are required.
• Must have business analysis experience with an **off-shore** development partnership.
• Consulting experience a plus.
• Experience with a financial services organization preferred.
• Project management or development experience beneficial.

Data Center Manager

Skills : OPS/MVS, CA7, HP Openview/OVO, AutoSys, JCL, Mainframe Z/OS, Unix, and Windows
Location : Centennial, CO
Tax term : Fulltime
Principal Responsibilities May Include:
• Plans and directs the operational and administrative activities of our 24x7x365 Data Center.
• Coordinates, directs and supports peer groups and vendors.
• Assigns personnel to our operational functions and directs their activities.
• Provides strategic direction and vision for the department and the group
• Responsible for hiring, performance management, development and leadership of staff
• Effective utilization of resources (people, technical and financial) to achieve the goals and    objectives of the business.
• Develops employees for positions of increased responsibilities and provides opportunities for    growth.
• Develop and maintain Data Center Operations Business Continuity and Contingency plans    including disaster recovery plans, communication and escalation plans, and emergency    operations plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Competencies For Success :
• 5 years experience in technology management, preferably in a Data Center environment
• B.S. degree in engineering, computer science, business or equivalent job experience
• Strong supervisory/management and employee development skills.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Technical and Management experience related to: OPS/MVS, CA7, HP Openview/OVO, AutoSys,    JCL, Mainframe Z/OS, Unix, and Windows.
• Certification and experience in ITIL Foundations is a plus.
